Gin & It Movie trailer – my first big screen role

Check out the neat trailer for the movie ‘Gin and It’ which I played Lily in – it was great to shoot a period film in the UK with amazing British director Maria Micetich who was just 21 at the time, she’s now living and working in LA and many of the cast and crew have gone on to become successful in their own right. The film was choreographed by Elena Gibson who started her career with The Canadian National Ballet. I loved every minute of playing Lily, a tough yet vulnerable survivor and I got to dance, alot! One memorable scene involves me dancing as a man and was completely improvised as an actor failed to show up on time to film and we had a packed room of extra’s ready to play customer’s at the club and a band – so there was no choice but to go for it and Elena, Maria and I ended up finding some brilliant choreography and dance that even made it into the trailer.
